Ann Marie Sorrell is an award-winning business leader, accomplished multi-media global influencer, public speaker, published author, political figure, and philanthropist. She is unapologetic in her support of the many causes including issues impacting women and minorities, economic development, and our environment. Ann Marie is a go-to thought leader for her expertise and strategic counsel in marketing, entrepreneurship, multinational and multigenerational strategies, communications planning, creative strategy and direction, branding and positioning strategies, transformational leadership, and civic engagement. She has served as a keynote speaker and panelist at several national and international conferences.

She is the president and CEO of The Mosaic Group, an award-winning advertising, marketing, and public relations firm serving clients throughout the US and Caribbean for more than 20 years. Ann Marie also serves as an educator, consultant, and coach for Cannabiziac®.

She is a co-author of No Glory Without a Story: Stepping Out on Faith to Birth the Business Within and author of Chronicles of a Serial Dater, a journey through the good, bad, funny – and steamy – of dating and relationships told through short stories that all end with a tip for the ladies and a tip for the fellas on the lesson(s) learned from each situation. Ann Marie will launch her new literary project, the “Live Audaciously Self-Empowerment Journal & Planner: Elevating towards a Bold & Authentic Life” in 2026.

Ann Marie earned a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Florida A&M University.

Ann Marie was elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2023 and 2024 as Supervisor for Palm Beach Soil & Water Conservation District, Seat 4 and currently serves as the Immediate Past Chairwoman of the District Board.  Ann Marie launched empowerment initiatives: Black Business Loop and the National Black Economic Conference held annually.

She has served on several community boards including the Chamber of the Palm Beaches, Planned Parenthood of South, East, and North Florida, and is the Immediate Past President of Girls 2 Women.  She is a Charter Member of the South Florida Business Journal Leadership Trust, and a member of Leadership Palm Beach County, Leadership Florida, Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s Florida Advisory Committee, National Forum for Black Public Administrators, NABWIC, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  Ann Marie has served as an adjunct professor for five years at Palm Beach State College teaching entrepreneurship, small business management, and human relations.

Ann Marie received the 2025 ICABA Salutes Women of Impact Award and was named a 2024 Power Leader on the South Florida Business Journal’s Power Leaders 250 List.  Additionally, she has been recognized with numerous awards in her career for her leadership, business acumen, and community involvement including 2023 Ultimate CEO Honoree by the South Florida Business Journal, 2021 South Florida Business Journal Influential Businesswoman Award, NFTE 2021 Volunteer of the Year Award, South Florida Business & Wealth 2021 Prestigious Women’s Award, Legacy Magazines 2018 25 Most Influential Black Women in Business & Industry Award, and Legacy Magazines 2016 Most Influential Leaders in Business & Industry Award, to name a few.

She resides in West Palm Beach, Florida and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing golf, and attending music, arts, and cultural events in her leisure time.
