MDEAT awards over $200,000 in 2026 Business Empowerment Blueprint Grant Cycle

The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) has completed its 2026 Business Empowerment Blueprint Grant Cycle, investing into 36 small businesses and nonprofit organizations across Miami-Dade County.

This year’s grant cycle awarded a total of $232,500 in capital across two distinct funding tracks.  The Small Business Capitalization Grant provided $10,000 to 19 established businesses to strengthen operations, scale infrastructure, and expand workforce capacity. The Business Resource and Education Start-Up Grant awarded $2,500 to 17 emerging businesses to build an operational foundation for long-term stability.

MDEAT also announced the winners of its 2026 Pitch Fest, a nationwide competition designed to foster the growth of established micro and small businesses.
