Vice President JD Vance has delayed his trip to Switzerland to negotiate the terms of a peace agreement with Iran on Friday.
It’s unclear exactly why the talks were called off at the last minute, with hundreds of journalists already waiting in the alpine city of Lucerne.
But the delay raises questions over the sturdiness of the memorandum of understanding to end the war, signed by Trump on Wednesday. It came as Israel continued to heavily bombard Lebanon, despite the agreement promising to end all military operations, including in Lebanon.
