South Floridians can expect to see showers and thunderstorms overnight and during the early mornings, followed by sticky afternoons this week through Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.
The highest chances for rain — around 30% to 40% — will arrive from 5 a.m. to noon during the work week, according to NWS meteorologist Sammy Hadi. The pattern is fairly consistent across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
