The extreme heat is back. For the third straight day this week, the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for South Florida. Thursday’s advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and covers Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
The weather service says it could feel as hot as 110 degrees across the region. The agency advises: “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.”
