As the world mourns country icon Dolly Parton, Beyoncé joined the chorus of many who looked at the singer as “brilliant.”

In a post on her website, the “Dangerously In Love” singer remembered the singer fondly, as the two later collaborated on “Dolly P” and “Tyrant” from 2024’s “Cowboy Carter.” Parton personally requested that Queen Bey cover “Jolene,” one of her most iconic songs, which she coincidentally wrote on the same day she penned “I Will Always Love You,” which became one of the biggest songs of all time thanks to Whitney Houston’s cover.
