In a post on her website, the “Dangerously In Love” singer remembered the singer fondly, as the two later collaborated on “Dolly P” and “Tyrant” from 2024’s “Cowboy Carter.” Parton personally requested that Queen Bey cover “Jolene,” one of her most iconic songs, which she coincidentally wrote on the same day she penned “I Will Always Love You,” which became one of the biggest songs of all time thanks to Whitney Houston’s cover.
