The Hurricanes have offered a scholarship to a rising freshman with NFL pedigree.

Adrian Peterson Jr., the 14-year-old son of former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson, announced on social media that he had received an offer from Miami.

Peterson is a member of the 2030 class, meaning he is entering his freshman year of high school. He also has offers from Baylor and Missouri State. Peterson plays wide receiver, running back and defensive back.
