Investing in educators ensures economic growth

Keely Gideon-Taylor, President and Resource Development Committee Chair

August is National Black Business Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the innovation and economic impact of Black-owned businesses across our nation and right here in South Florida.

Black entrepreneurs continue to create jobs, strengthen communities, and drive economic growth despite facing unique challenges. Their determination, creativity, and commitment to excellence serve as an inspiration to all of us.

As we celebrate this month,  the Black Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County remains committed to creating opportunities and championing the growth and success of Black-owned businesses. We encourage everyone to support local Black businesses and invest in the entrepreneurs who are driving innovation, creating jobs, and strengthening our communities. Join us in making a lasting impact by supporting our BuyBlack365 initiative, helping build a more prosperous future for all.

We also invite you to celebrate with us at the National Black Business Month Tri-Chamber Mixer scheduled for August 6—an opportunity to connect and honor the contributions of Black businesses throughout our South Florida region.

Together, we honor the achievements of Black business owners and reaffirm our commitment to helping them grow their success and create lasting economic empowerment.
