The American Black Film Festival is the premier film and entertainment event in the country dedicated to helping elevate the culture and nurture emerging talent. It is one of Miami’s most prestigious events!

We are excited about the festivities on Miami Beach and super excited about Community Day on Sunday, May 31st, which takes place at the Lyric Theater in Historic Overtown.  Community Day is open to all registered festival participants and free and open for anyone from the Greater Miami area to attend.
