WHY:               School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, District 2 Representative, will host her 25th annual “No More Broken Hearts” Domestic Violence Workshop to raise awareness about domestic violence in the community. Participants will gain essential knowledge on how to recognize signs of domestic violence, learn about available resources, and understand the importance of community solidarity in ending abuse. The event will also provide an opportunity for youth to engage with topics like healthy relationships, self-respect, and how to support friends who may be experiencing violence. This special 25th edition of Breaking the Silence will take place on March 15th.
