Several South Florida hospitals ranked among the nation’s best for cancer care, eye care, rehabilitation, neurology and other specialties in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals 2026-2027, with some Miami-area medical centers also securing spots on the state’s Top 40 list.
The publication used a variety of measures, including federal data tied to patient outcomes. This year, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals in the country, 100 more than last year, including 274 in Florida, across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions.
