Somewhere in the back, the scent that defines this space— My Way from the 1 Hotel — a signature fragrance that hits you the moment you walk in— begins to settle into the room like a co-host. In a few hours, 102 seats will be full, the disco balls suspended above the center of the floor will be throwing light in every direction, and the plants cascading down the walls will frame a scene that feels less like a Houston restaurant and more like a portal to somewhere else entirely.
