Marly Metayer, the mother of the late Coral Springs vice mayor, is seeking to fill her daughter’s seat on the City Commission, records show.
There was an outpouring of community support for Marly Metayer and her family after the death of her daughter, Nancy, who was first elected as a commissioner in 2020 and then reelected in 2024.
Marly Metayer is listed as an “active” candidate for the city’s Commission Seat 3, according to Coral Springs’ campaign finance portal. She couldn’t be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.
