Meet the social media ambassadors repping Black excellence at ABFF 2025

The 29th annual American Black Film Festival’s (ABFF) lineup of creative dramas, documentaries, shorts, and other featured screenings June 11-15, promises to draw its usual crowd of artists and enthusiasts, although social media has an audience of its own. Since its inception in 1997, ABFF has grown to attract about 7,000 guests, while figures in the social media realm reach even greater numbers; ABFF’s 2025 social media ambassadors include:

  • Antonio Neville – Known by the handle “HeyTonyTV,” the content creator makes his homes in Raleigh, N.C. and Los Angeles. His TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms feature creative character skits that have catapulted him to national notoriety based on their memorable content. Also an actor, Neville is collaborating with Emmy nominee Robin Thede in a project being developed.
  • Landon Moss – He’s no Eskimo, but Landon Moss hails from Alaska, due to his mother’s military travels back in the day. It was mom’s basement where he began creating content in 2013, using Vine. Today, Moss has expanded from social media to the screen, where he appeared in TV projects for networks like Lifetime and TruTV, including “Keeping Up with the Joneses,” “Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks,” and “Make or Bake Christmas.”
  • Tee Sanders – With tens of millions of social media views, Sanders is both a solo- and group comedy-content attraction with her ensemble, “The Round Table.” Having generated more than 75 million social media views, she has enjoyed viral success. Making others laugh has been her personal remedy to life’s challenges.
  • Whitney Davis – Performing comedy skits online since 2015, Davis gained social media fame in 2021, for expressing a prayer to her future spouse, which resonated with many like-minded women. Exploring themes like love, faith and everyday life is the Muskegon, Mich. native’s approach to content development. Davis is co-creator with Zachary Pope of the YouTube show, “Whitseries,” and co-writer of the feature film, “She’s Such a Lady.” She also acted in the film, “Diminishing Value of Love.”
  • Henrie Kwushue – A presenter and podcaster whose Spotify show “Who We Be Talks,” and whose weekend radio show, “KISS Fresh,” garner listeners, Kwushue contributes to No Signal Radio. She also operates her own company, HTK Productions, which launched the web series, “Untold Stories,” and works as a DJ, performing at events for major brands and media imprints. Kwushue hails from Southeast London.
  • Ama Qamata – Known for her role in “Blood & Water,” the longest-running Netflix series in Africa, in which she played Puleng Khumalo, Qamata is also a philanthropist who sponsored tuition for 20 girls attending school in her South African hometown. She began her career as an actress on the sitcom “My Perfect Family,” and later enjoyed roles on “Rhythm City,” “Our Girl” and other internationally viewed series. A best actress nominee for the African Movie Academy Awards, Qamata is a member of Forbes Africa’s “30 Under 30” class of 2024.
