One legendary Miami Dolphins player will have his name forever enshrined near where he grew up. A section of Northwest Second Avenue between 59th and 62nd Street was named “Nat Moore Way” on Wednesday after the former Dolphins receiver. The street sign is located just a stone’s throw away from Miami Edison High School, Moore’s alma mater.
“It’s somewhat amazing that it’s across from the high school that gave me my opportunity,” Moore, 73, said in a video that the Dolphins posted Friday afternoon on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
