This is “Small Bites,” a South Florida Sun Sentinel feature with tiny tidbits on the food and beverage scene — because we know that sometimes you just don’t have room for a long article. You want a little news brief instead, an amuse bouche of information, if you will. Enjoy!
WHAT: Tastings from renowned around-the-way restaurants are the dining draw during the Ann Storck Center’s 29th Annual Celebrity Chefs event on Friday, May 2.
Guests can sip and savor cocktails and canapés from — as of now — 20 restaurants, breweries, bakeries and other food purveyors. There also will be entertainment as well as silent and live auctions.
“There’s nowhere else to try all these restaurants in one place,” said Patricia Murphy, CEO of Ann Storck Center. “The event will be one-of-kind with interactive entertainment, auction items for the whole family, some fun surprises throughout the evening and bites for any foodie’s desire.”
The fundraiser benefits the Ann Storck Center, a Broward County-based nonprofit that helps children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
