Tyrese Haliburton helped the Indiana Pacers steal momentum in their playoff series with the Knicks, and his girlfriend let New York know it.
Following Indiana’s 138-135 comeback win at Madison Square Garden, Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, posted a photo on Instagram with a caption that seemed aimed squarely at Knicks fans: “Finally got to see the ball drop in NYC.”
The line, paired with photos of her courtside, was a clear reference to both New Year’s Eve in Times Square and the Knicks’ second-half collapse.
Fans instantly expressed their love of the light-hearted jab. “That’s the best caption I’ve seen in awhile!!” wrote one.
Another chimed in, “This caption is the GOAT!!”
